Hello Roadies! Yvonne here sharing my project for Day Two of the Maya Road and Xyron Design Team Swap.
I love upcycling paper bags into pretty gift bags and the Xyron Creative Station Lite is perfect for making it easier and faster.
I started with this black bag, some remnant lace and patterned paper. I cut them to size and ran them through the Xyron Creative Station Lite for an even layer of adhesive. Then I pasted them on the paper bag.
Next, I cut out these fabulous pearl bits (upcoming Maya Road product) to play up the floral patterns on the remnant lace.
They are lightweight and add such an interesting texture and interest.
I didn't like the plain black handles on the paper bag so I used I plaited my own with twine.
I finished with the Shimmering Pointed Petal Flower in Emo Black.
This month we are celebrating Fabulous Flowers so don't forget to check out the fabulous deals at our store!
Those pearl bits make this extra special!

such an elegant bag.
I'd be thrilled to find
this in the gift pile.
The xyron would attach lace
and ribbon so much easier
than trying to use glue.
thanks for the idea.
