Travel Mini Album - "These Moments:Denver" by Victoria Calvin
Hello friends! This is Victoria Calvin and I am back with my last guest design project for Maya Road. Today’s project is a chipboard mini album that I created to document my 2016 trip to Denver, Colorado. I plan to feature photos of Estes Park and other points of interest from my vacation. I created this fun mini album using the following Maya Road goodies:
- Maya Road Chipboard Scalloped Pennant Mega Banner Album
- Maya Road Wood Veneer Ruler
- Maya Road Vintage Findings Paper Leaves –Medium
- Maya Road Resin Fancy Frames – Snow White
- Maya Road Resign Fancy Frames – Sunshine Yellow
- Maya Road Tulle Mini Blooms – Buttercream
- Maya Road Burlap Flower
- Maya Road Tu Tu Tulle Flowers – Vintage Buttermilk
- Maya Road Resin Flower Set – Cool Grey
- Maya Road Resin Diamond – Tempting Teal
- Maya Road Wood Hashtag Tokens
- Maya Road Steel Dies – Mason Jar Die Set
From my stash: Getaway Collection by Echo Park paper and stickers, various chipboard and wood veneer elements and navy blue acrylic paint.
To begin this mini album, I painted two of the scalloped pennant chipboard pieces (front and back cover) using navy blue acrylic paint by Liquitex Basics. To add continuity, I painted the edges of the inside pennant chipboard pieces using the same navy blue paint.
I embellished the front cover with pattern paper from the Getaway Collection by Echo Park, a Maya Road Burlap flower and paper leaves, and chipboard pieces from my stash.
Next, the I covered the inside pennant pieces with coordinating pattern paper from the Getaway Collection.
Each inside pennant was embellished using Maya Road flowers, paper leaves, resin flowers, resin diamond, hashtag tokens, a mason jar die cut, various chipboard elements from my stash, and stickers from the Getaway Collection by Echo Park. The album is bound using two mini binder clips by Recollections.
Overall, I love how this mini album turned out! I cannot wait to fill it with some of the photos I took from my summer trip to Denver. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks so much Victoria for sharing your talent with us! We absolutely love your beautiful memory projects!
