Hi Roadies! It's Katrina, from Paper Scissors and Glue, here today to share a couple of tags that I made with you. I am needing to get a couple of gifts purchased and given, so I though a tag with some Maya Road products would be a nice personal touch. I also thought it would be fun to use multiple tags on a tag!
To make these, for my base tags, I used the #5 Kraft Shipping Tag and then covered that with some pattern paper, trimming it to fit. NOTE: The papers I used here are digital , which are a great option if you don't have anything to match or just aren't "feeling" it with the paper you have in your stash. I also used a corrugated kraft tag just as it was on each of my tags.
The first tag, I used a trio effect and lined 2 smaller and varying sized tags up with the bigger tag. Place some Bias Tape Trim at the bottom to give the tag a little border. A Tulle Mini Bloom in Bluebird on top of the bias tape trim, gives the tag a little springy, bright feel. I added some of the Popsicle Blue Twine Cording for a bow at the top of the tag, I ran the twine thru all the tags and then just tied a bow.
I love the Fanciful Thank You steel die and knew it would look perfect on this tag. I cut it out of some heavyweight cardstock three times and then just layered and glued them together. I love how it looks like chipboard or an acrylic piece!
This tag has a lot of kraft, white and resin to it! I trimmed down a small Kraft Polka Dotted envelope and tucked it under a Scroll Frame Journaling Tag that I was using as the focus of the tag. I used smaller tags here again and fanned them instead of stacking right on top of each other.
And resin bits are a weakness of mine! Did you know that Maya Road now has these new fun resin flowers?? LOVE! And there are three different sizes in the package, perfection I tell you! I teamed them up with a wooden token and a Mini Wood Embroidery Hoop. The token fit perfectly inside the hoop! I tucked a couple of vintage leaves under the kraft journaling tag, because it was just a little "bare" and needed something! That's the great thing with Maya Road products, you can always find a fun filler if you need it!
So now I have a couple of fun tags for gift giving and I may just skip the card!! Thanks for stopping by the Maya Road Blog today!!!
