Maya Road is once again super excited to be a Super Sponsor for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! This time around the theme is good ole summertime. Hot or cold, we love coffee, and tea as well! Let's celebrate with this beautiful altered canvas project by Maya Road designer Belly Lau.

Hi Roadies! Belly is here on the blog today. There are so many uses of canvas, mixed media is one of my favorite! Paint, draw, for expressing your personal creative minds... But it's also great for making with dimensions and pop-ups like what I am going to show you today.

Great coffee is the most refreshing way to start your day! This mug is a die-cut chipboard piece which I colored, stamped and covered with embossing powder. Just before the top layer of melted embossing powder cooled down, put the Maya Road Wood Daily Grind Token inside in order to let the mug uniquely.

Folding a stack of newspaper print pattern papers to form the scene, I put a Maya Road Tall Cup Clip behind the papers to give this corner an eye catching point, which can also match with the dairy scene.

The flowers on the top part reminds us of garden houses, the smell of flowers and leaves, and the beautiful bird songs flying in the air, our dream place to have a chat and a cup of coffee with friends.
