Hello there, and Happy New Year!
Just wanted to share how easy (and actually - quickly) you can whip up cute favors or minigifts containing sweets (well, mine usually does ;) ).
First, you need two boxes of slightly different sizes, or just a box with a lid... If you don't know how to fold one, I have a tutorial on one here. My two halves were made of squares measuring 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 x 8 3/4.
Then you need a couple different things you can layer upon the top. Mix Kraft tags with misted canvas pieces.
Dress up chipboard with patterned paper, before topping off with see-through glitter. Add ribbons and stamped images. Layering different materials equals exciting decoration for your box.
Don't forget to use 3d-foam and raisen's to help building dimension.
Two of the sides of the top box was also punched with a circle puncher - this so the box can be opened easier. Don't forget to decorate the sides of the box as well.
Don't forget to fill the box with sweet contents....
And tah-dah! You're done with a little, but cute and homemade giftbox! Or well, actually - when looking at this image I realize it's missing something....a trinket pin or three, mayhaps?
